Single-sided foam tape is typically the most suitable tape when you need to seal, cushion or gasket on a single side of a joint, instead of bonding on both sides. The adhesive on one side secures the tape, and the other side’s exposed foam is compressed against the other surface.

Choosing the Right Foam
PE Foam Tape is closed cell tape, mainly applied for sealing, cushioning and in projects that require a low water absorption rate.
The open-cell structure of PU Foam Tape is softer, suitable for cushioning, dust sealing, sound damping and compression.
PVC Nitrile Foam Tape is a strong closed-cell adhesive tape. It is typically used for gasketing, HVAC, automotive and industrial sealing.

Application Tips
Before applying the tape, remove any type of dirt or grease on it. Make it completely clean and dry. Don’t stretch the foam while installing it. Press the tape down evenly so it sticks properly. Use the thicker thickness for jobs requiring sealing, as it will allow the foam to compress and seal well, but not so much that it crushes the foam.
